Manjaro Linux is an open source Linux distro which based on Arch Linux. Manjaro is user-friendly Linux distribution. It provides all the benefits of the Arch operating system.
Manjaro 17 is available with the following three desktop environment.
- Manjaro XFCE
- Manjaro KDE
- Manjaro Gnome
Manjaro Linux Distros:
Manjaro XFCE —
The XFCE is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems. It aims to be fast and low on system resources.
Manjaro KDE —
KDE is a feature-rich and versatile desktop environment that provides several different styles of menu to access applications. KDE little bit slower as compear to XFCE. A 64-bit installation of Manjaro running KDE uses about 550MB of memory.
Manjaro Gnome —
The GNOME Desktop Environment is being developed as part of the GNU Project, aiming to be simple and easy to use and is fully accessible. Like KDE it uses more resources than Xfce.
With the console-based net-installer Manjaro-Architect, you can either install any of Manjaro’s official or Community maintained editions or alternatively configure freely your custom built system. All packages will be downloaded during installation in their latest versions.
